Packing: Syracuse, NY

Without spraining our shoulders patting ourselves on the back, I have to admit, I think we have this moving thing down.

Today was the final round-up of our things.  They were divided in to 2 mounds: to go in the truck with us, or in our U-Haul cube.  We surveyed the interior of the cube and remarked that, 11 years later, we have gone from a car to a U-Haul van to a moving pod/box/cube, but that we can still fit all of our things in to a box.  It's either something to be ashamed of or something to brag about...

Tomorrow morning we are leaving for Washington D.C, our first stop, to say: "see you soon" to Mike, Christa, Laura, Casey and Will.

It will be a tough leave from Forest Edge Drive, something neither of us are really looking forward to,  some major ups and some sad downs.  It's been quite a year.  Neither of us regret moving back for a little under a year, I know we both wouldn't change the experience for the world.

Now, it's our time to head (back) to Tahoe in order to finish what we left behind.  Start new adventures and see where the next few years take us.

Never say never to a couple who can fit all of their possessions in to 1 giant box.

See you on the road,

Camilla, Steve, Ollie and Lola.
